CHRISTINA CRISCIONE

Christina Criscione was born in New York City. She started training as a classic opera singer at the age of 16. She won the NYSTRA opera competition and performed at Avery Fisher hall all before the age of 20. Christina was crowned Miss New Jersey and competed in The Miss America contest. After her reign she went to NYC to pursue her singing & acting career. She went to an audition at the office of Bobby Orlando and he was immediately impressed with her singing capabilities & stylish looks and he signed her on the spot. She started as a singer with Bobby O as the lead singer for the group Waterfront Home with Tony Caso and toured the US. She later went on to become the lead singer for the group called Hotline and a top hit called Guilty.

Christina then became the lead singer for The Flirts and recorded the three albums to include “Made In America”, “Blondes Brunettes & Redheads”, & “Questions of the Heart”. After 2 World Tours and a very successful MTV video for You and Me produced by Shep Pettibone she left the group and went on to sing You Got me Thinking Twice for the famous cult film “Night of The Creeps” and then the song Turn The Beat in 1990 as well as signing a solo contract with. Due to a merger with another record company her single was not released and she decided to move into her other passion of acting. Christina went onto to become a successful film and television actress in the United States.

Christina was the National Spokes model for Ann Taylor for 4 consecutive years. She had many national commercials as well as soap opera appearances, independent film roles and was part of a group that piloted a theater company in NYC called the Working Group, which was headed by the well-known casting agent James Callari. She currently resides in southern CA.

KIM ROWE

Kim has always been a performer and a flirt, starting at the ripe young age of 6, when she and her stepsister would write and perform after-dinner plays for the family; she was always the damsel in distress, being rescued by some evil someone. In elementary school, she collaborated with her best friends to star in several plays and musicals at school, as well as produced and starred in Variety Shows for friends and family on weekends at home. At summer camp, she was chosen to play Sandy from Grease (her favorite Musical), and she got to personally select her Danny. They re-wrote the musical combining several hit movies, called “Thank God It’s a Greasy Friday Night.”

She received her B.A. from California State University Northridge in Honors English, and was working as VP of a film distribution company, when a client asked why she wasn’t an actress. She quipped, “Who says I’m not,” and started taking acting classes only on a dare from the client to see if she could act. She could, and went on to star in several movies and guest star on several television shows, before pursuing other life inspiring ventures, including world travel, becoming a certified Ayurveda Counselor, and teaching yoga4kids.

She has recorded, in total…. belt ya heart out, rockstar fashion cover songs with her life long musician friend: Marilyn Monroe’s “I Wanna Be Loved by You,” Elvis’ “Trouble,” and Blondie’s “One Way or Another.” She has also recorded back up vocals for Sonny Vincent, The Spiders, and The Superbees, and has starred in various music videos (back in the day, when MTV rocked ‘em): Donna Summer “I Will Go With You,” Dolly Parton “Salt in my Tears,” Dragbeat “Pure Dirt,” Hangmen “Bent,” to name a few.

She met Christina through a mutual friend, and as fate would have it, they hit it off beautifully. She is so grateful to be a part of the Flirts comeback.

DANIELLE MCKEE

Danielle got her start in music when she learned piano and flute as a child growing up in Toronto, Canada. She had an early curiosity and deep determination to learn and create melody and lyrics. Before the age of six Danielle routinely chimed in to her father’s guitar playing with tambourine and story-telling lyrics and melody. It was when she started to pursue voice lessons at age twelve that she discovered her true path….a life of singing and song-writing.

Since then, Danielle has gone on to sing back ups on tour for fellow Canadian songstress Nelly Furtado as well as cut an album of her own. Danielle’s songs caught the ear of many in the TV and Film industry, leading to numerous song placements in popular TV shows and movies. You may have heard her catchy pop melodies in shows like The Hills (MTV), Laguna Beach (MTV), WB’s Charmed, Disney’s Naturally Sadie, The Regis and Kelly Show, Pimp My Ride (MTV), Sunset Tan (MTV), Sorority Wars, The Latest Buzz, Degrassi – The Next Generation, the trailer for Lions Gate film, Unhitched. Her music has also been in films such as Legally Blondes, Disney’s Picture This and others.

You can hear her music around the world – as far away as Japan where her record sold out to loyal Japanese fans. Today, Danielle McKee has hit the stage with a band that was part of her childhood musical back-drop, The Flirts. In her own words….. “I can’t believe how much fun it is to be a Flirt! The songs are so catchy – they just make you want to move. And the fans? They are some of the most wholehearted and enthusiastic I’ve seen. I’m so excited to jump on board The Flirts. It’s kinda like a party on-stage!”
